You made the decision to sell your house. You’ve decluttered your house. You have cleaned up your yard. You’ve hired a professional photographer to take the perfect pictures of your newly staged house. You found a real estate agent you feel good about. There is a freshly dug hole with a post holding a sign – For Sale!

Your agent has added your home to their local MLS, or multiple listing service, which will syndicate the listing out to thousands of sites including Zillow, Trulia, and Redfin. You have just finished your first open house and you are expecting multiple offers to come in. Up until this point you have felt entirely comfortable with the process of selling, but now you are sitting there and wondering what happens next.

Hopefully your real estate agent is walking you through this already but, if not, we’d suggest taking a look at a service called Offer To Close. Offer To Close calls themselves a transaction coordinator service you can trust which may not mean much to the average home seller (or buyer) but what that means is that they help you get through the part of selling your home that you are currently at they literally help you get from an offer to close of escrow (thus the name offer to close). This means that they help open escrow, they create a transaction timeline to help you track key dates and deadlines, they help you know which forms/contracts to sign and when and can help you with any other hiccups or problems you have along the way. This role that Offer To Close plays as a sort of transaction coordinator for selling your home can be the most important service provider you use throughout the home sales process.

In a recent survey of home owners performed by Offer To Close, 281 home owners were asked a series of questions to identify what the most valuable thing their real estate agent helped them with during the transaction. Over 60% of respondents said that managing the contracts, paperwork, and process was the most valuable contribution.

Offer To Close’s Founder and CEO James Green noted, “We pride ourselves on being able to contribute to the success of qualified, experienced real estate agents and want to continue working with them to get more of their transactions from an accepted offer through to the close of escrow. Similarly, we are working to make the experience simpler for buyers and sellers too. Our company’s mission is to make home ownership simpler and more affordable and we believe our approach to assisting in the transaction helps to further that mission.”
